Upon our arrival back to Ukraine, we hope to spread the knowledge and implement ideas we got at the United Nations.
We believe that cooperation with other initiatives and organizations, building on their experience is critical for success.
We started by meeting the Ukrainian UN Country Team representatives – Viktoriya Andriyevska and Tamara Beresh, who work closely and implement joint projects with the UN Youth Advisory Panel. The latter consists of 11 members – representatives of youth organizations and initiatives – who consult the UN Country Team on youth issues and help the UN reach out to young Ukrainians.
Here is an example of a joint project the UNCT and UNYAP – World’s Largest Lesson. This was a training for young activists from 27 cities that equipped them with tools for teaching SDGs to primary and secondary school students. The young activists acted as multipliers – bringing the knowledge on SDGs to more than 3000 students in their local communities.
