Would you like to try yourself as a diplomat and speak on behalf of the Ukrainian youth at the UN General Assembly and other international events? Then the “Ukrainian Youth Delegate to the UN” program is right for you!

Applications for candidates to participate in the selection of Ukrainian Youth Delegates to the UN are opened! 

Submit your application, and you may be the next representative of the state at the General Assembly in New York in 2026!

Ukrainian Youth Delegate to the UN is:

• An annual program to present the position of Ukrainian youth in the world.
  
• Experience representing the state at the UN and the opportunity to learn from Ukrainian diplomats.
• Networking with the world’s most active youth.
• Development in the fields of youth diplomacy, project management, communications, and analytics.

Requirements for applicants:

• Citizenship of Ukraine
• Age 20-27 years old
• High level of English language proficiency
• Experience in tackling youth-related issues

A potential youth delegate must be a representative of Ukrainian youth organizations, communities or initiatives, and have previous experience in the field of youth diplomacy.

In order to participate in the selection, you must:

1. Take a short video on the topic “What unique contribution can Ukrainian youth bring to international dialogue today?”
2. Fill in a short online form: https://forms.gle/EvjqoyGsbtpnBhKQA (you will need to add the link to your video and CV)
3. Receive a confirmation letter via the email.

Video requirements:

• Video format: any (from selfie to animation)
• Language: video should be in English
• Duration: up to 1 minute (video exceeding 1 minute will not be considered)
• Content: The video’s topic is “What unique contribution can Ukrainian youth bring to international dialogue today?”. In your video, share your personal experience of how you have contributed to international dialogue as a young Ukrainian since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion. Highlight specific initiatives or projects you have been involved in and how they demonstrate the unique role Ukrainian youth play on the global stage. Briefly outline your vision of how the UN Youth Delegates programme can strengthen and scale your efforts further.
• Prepare a link to your video by first uploading it to Google Drive. This link will need to be added in the online application form for the program. Posting the video on your social networks will be considered as an advantage (tag the Youth Delegate Facebook page @ua.youthdelegate and/or @uayouthdelegate on Instagram when sharing your video).

Important:

Deadline: April 26, 2026, 11:59 p.m. (Kyiv time).
The language of filling in the application form, and CV is English.
Only those applicants who fulfill all the conditions are allowed to participate in the competition.
